Successful progress of cooling towers construction in India (NPGC)
FANS is one of the key suppliers of equipment for a new power plant (3 x 660 MW) in Nabinagar in the North Indian state Bihar.
We would like to inform you about successful progress in the construction of concrete forced draft cooling towers for an Indian company Nabinagar Power Generating Company Pvt. Ltd. NPGC is a joint venture of the state Bihar and National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd. (NTPC), which is India’s largest power utility company. NPGC currently builds a completely new power plant with total capacity 3 x 660 MW.
The team of engineers from FANS designed cooling towers for this project, and now we continue their construction in cooperation with Indian subcontractors. An integral part of this project is supervision on-site, later we’ll be responsible for putting cooling towers into operation. This large contract is a proof of growing professional capacities of FANS and confirmation of our ability to execute large and complex projects.
The NPGC project is expected to be finalized in 2017.
